The episode begins with K.O., Enid, and Rad closing up the bodega and preparing to leave. As they're ready to finish, Carol arrives to pick K.O. up and greets Rad and Enid. She asks them if they know where her son is. He then scavenges outside of her hair and greets her. Mr. Gar gets ready to exit the bodega when he spots Carol playing with the others. He then blushes nervously as Carol notice him and gives a friendly greeting to him.
Immediately afterwards, an interrupting noise is heard outside. Rad and Enid are confused by what happened and assume it's the work of Lord Boxman. As they exit the bodega, they notice a foe familiar to Carol and Mr. Gar. It's revealed to be Steamborg, and it arrived at the plaza to get revenge on P.O.I.N.T. for its defeat that took place 6-11 years ago. As K.O., Enid, and Rad are all confused at why it claims to want to get revenge. Carol and Mr. Gar look at each other with worried expressions. Steamborg then analyzes the group and finds out that Carol and Mr. Gar are Silver Spark and El-Bow, respectively. He then aims his fist at Mr. Gar and proceeds to punch him. Mere moments before the fist reaches his face, Mr. Gar stares at Carol and remembers how good of a team they used to be.
The scene shifts back to the past where it shows all the members of P.O.I.N.T. taking out an army of Mecha Lizards. Doctor Greyman compliments the team for their efforts in destroying the army and tells them that he has to head out on a solo mission and that they deserve a break.
El-Bow is seen at a table, sighing as he slowly tries to eat his sandwich. Silver Spark walks past him as she compliments him on his sandwich, and he accidentally says "You too!". Because of his incapability to eat it, he decides to save the sandwich for later. Rippy Roo arrives at his table, and questions what's wrong. He explains to the confused kangaroo that he is feeling jittery, and Rippy Roo asks why. He then says that he's been considering to confess his feelings to Silver Spark, but Rippy Roo awkwardly looks at him. Rippy Roo reveals to El-Bow that she's dating Laserblast, and he then complains in an upset manner about why she would like him in the first place. To give sympathy, Rippy Roo gives him a few pats on his back. Foxtail arrives at the table to inform the team about an emergency meeting being held by Doctor Greyman at the main hall.
Doctor Greyman tells them about a case with weapons he discovered previously belonging to an unknown villain. Inside of the cases holds three orbs, one of each colored blue, green, and orange. To demonstrate the power of the weapons, he uses each of them.
- The blue orb is capable of generating black holes when it explodes.
- The green orb is capable of shrinking its targets to subatomic levels.
- The red orb's capability is not precise, but when it accidentally becomes activated by Doctor Greyman it explodes on him, and he loses his powers.
The rest of the team become shocked at the event. Laserblast suggests to grab hold of more of them to potentially use them against their foes, but Foxtail stops him and says they must find the rest, and disarm them completely. Laserblast plans to try to search for them, and Silver Spark decides to join him as back-up, with El-Bow additionally coming afterwards as double back-up. Foxtail and Rippy Roo stay back to try to see what they can do to help Doctor Greyman, and the remaining three head into the team's car and get on the go.
Laserblast, Silver Spark, and El-Bow are out in the city nearing a donut shop as Laserblast tells the two about Doctor Greyman saying that some of the orbs are located directly under the shop. He plans to slip in the area, and disarm the weapons. Silver Spark asks what she and El-Bow will do to help, but Laserblast simply tells them to stay there to be lookouts. Silver Spark is upset about this, but Laserblast explains that because they're still new, it's not safe to send them out on the mission. To cheer her up, he hands her a lollipop he had in his mouth, much to El-Bow's disgust, and then heads out.
It starts to rain, and El-Bow tells Silver Spark that they're like a sandwich; "All of the ingredients are good on their own, but combined they create something amazing. A perfect team."
Silver Spark agrees that they're a great team, and is glad to have El-Bow as a friend. El-Bow is disappointed by this is asks her why he's just a friend. Before Silver Spark can get to his question, he hears a noise in distance and believes Laserblast is in trouble. She rushes towards the donut shop but is blocked by El-Bow, as he in a panicking matter, brings up his sandwich, and continues to talk about it. Within a matter of time, an explosion occurs, and they both run towards the shop. The shop rises from the surface, shrinks, and enters a black hole. Silver Spark yells at El-Bow for ruining her chances of saving Laserblast and says that "it's all his fault." El-Bow drops the sandwich, and the flashback ends.
Right before Steamborg's fist reaches Mr. Gar, Carol lunges towards him to save him, and they both freeze and stare at each other. Mr. Gar is confused at the scene and wants to know what's happening, and Carol tells him that she was saving him. Before she can take him away, Mr. Gar feels a moment of grief and wants to explain to her that he's sorry for everything he caused the night Laserblast disappeared. Carol, much more understanding than before, tells him that had he didn't stop her, both her and Laserblast would have been shrunk and gone and forgives him.
They dodge the attack, and prepare to face Steamborg. Carol and Mr. Gar charge up, jump in the air, and they both strike with their elbows into Steamborg's eye and destroy him. They hug each other after he explodes, with K.O. amazed by what just happened, he asks Enid and Rad whether or not they should hug after their wins, with the response of Enid saying "no", and Rad almost saying yes, but quickly changes to a "no" upon hearing her saying "no". After the victory, Carol decides to head home, but goes to her dojo to "grab her purse".
When she heads inside the dojo she checks in through an earpiece, tells an unknown person that everything is in control and that there is no need to send in a unit, and ends the call.
